The United Leaders and ZenCOH Communities Fall Camp

The United Leaders and ZenCOH communities head to fall camp this week.  We will leave from school on Tuesday morning and will return in time for dismissal on Friday.  Students should arrive on Tuesday packed and ready to go – including a packed lunch!  Please let your child know if he or she will be riding the bus home on Friday, or will be getting picked up.  Students will not be dismissed early on Friday as there is a lot of post-camp work that needs to be done.  Thanks for your understanding.

Supporting Hurricane Harvey Survivors

This September, join Gamble Montessori, Tim Easterling, and select CPS schools in gathering clothing for those displaced by Hurricane Harvey. Bring new packages of underwear, and new or gently used socks, and place them in the container in the front hall at Gamble. These will be added to Matthew 25 Ministries shipments regularly.

Join our Soccer and Football Teams

Students at middle school and high school, we still need athletes to join our soccer and football teams. Joining a team at school is a great way to meet new people, learn skills, and improve your overall fitness and health. Mandatory high School soccer meeting will be held at 4 pm on Tuesday in the Auditorium. If you are a high school student and wish to play soccer you must attend this meeting and have all necessary paperwork to turn in. If you do not have the paperwork see Mr. Miller.

The Harvest Home Parade

The Harvest Home Parade is this Thursday, September 7th. We hope that you'll walk with us in your Gamble gear! You can meet us at Harrison and Nolan avenue, or join us at the school at 4:45 to catch the bus to and from the parade. Since we are in division 3, unit 46 we'll be done with our walk by 6 PM.

Communal Book Sharing Box Program

This year at Gamble we are trying to establish a communal book box sharing program in the halls of the school.  We are planning to utilize the old fire hose boxes in the various hallways around the building, for housing donated books to share.  Please donate books to the main office. If you have mad woodworking skills and would like to help with this project, contact Tom Haid or John Ploehs by calling 363-2607.
