Advanced Placement Exams

Students in Advanced Placement courses will be testing next week and the following week. Bulletins for AP Students and Parents were given to all students who will be testing. Take some time to sit down and review the exam dates and times. Students taking the AP English Language exam on Wednesday, May 16th will be required to be at Gamble by 8:00 a.m. Students will begin testing no later than 8:15 a.m. This is earlier than the regular school start time, so please make arrangements for transportation that day. Students will not be able to join the test after it has begun. Also, take a moment to review what to bring to the exam, and what NOT to bring to the exam. No electronic devices among other things will be allowed into the exam. Lastly, AP exams may last up to 3 1/2 hours, so make sure your child has a healthy breakfast the day of the test!

AP Blended Learning and Microsoft Office

 
Attention AP Blended Learning and Microsoft Office students. The end of the year is approaching, which means we need to collect your take home devices. AP Statistics will turn in devices, during class, on Wednesday, May 16th. AP Environmental Science will turn in devices, during class, on Thursday, May 17th. Microsoft Office will turn in devices during class on Friday, May 18th. Please make sure you have all cords, cases, and your Kajeet if you were issued one. Failure to return devices on these dates will result in charges being applied to your account.

Senior Post-Secondary and College Signing Day 

Senior Signing Day; Next week, on Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. during our advisory period, seniors will symbolically "sign" and declare their post-secondary or college choice. Parents are welcome to attend the Senior Signing Day program. Parents should arrive by 2:30 to allow time to sign in at the office and get to their seats.

PTO Meeting 

The PTO meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 8th has been canceled as it is an election day. Please go out and vote and celebrate in your participation in the electoral process.

Multicultural Campus Visit to University of Cincinnati
 

On May 9th from ten until three-thirty, the University of Cincinnati will be holding a multicultural campus visit opportunity for interested tenth graders. Join UC recruitment director for a day of admission information sessions, Greek Life exploration, and student panels! For more information visit the Gamble counseling office.”

Pigeon Key Payment Due

The 7th grade initial Pigeon Key payment of $300 is due in the office by the end of the school year. Please be timely in this payment to allow us to meet our deposit deadline for next year’s trip.
